The Motorola T802 Talkabout FRS Two Way Radio features 22 Talk Channels and 121 privacy codes making it super easy to find a private channel while also being compatible with other models and brands of FRS radios.  Motorola T802 FRS Radios have a Bluetooth Feature which allows for some off grid connectivity with other T802 users within range.  Connect your cellular phone to view maps, chat, and track stats even when out of range of a cell tower.  You can even connect your Bluetooth Headset through the Motorola Talkabout App available on your phone's app store.

Motorola T802 Talkabout Radios have impressive range from Mountain Top to Mountain Top but can be underwhelming when used in urban areas.  The box says 35 miles... don't count on it.  All handheld radios work line of sight unless connected to a repeater.  You might get .5 miles and you might get 35 miles.  We do not guarantee range and not getting enough range is not an approved reason to send back your radios for a full refund.

Can I use my Bluetooth headset with the Motorola T802?  Yes, you can connect the T802 to your cell phone via the Motorola Talkabout App.  

How do I get the App?  Go to the app store on your device and search for Motorola Talkabout.  The app has some cool features including allowing you to connect your Bluetooth Headset and communicating with others in your group via phones off the grid.  

Can I use the Motorola T802 on a GMRS Repeater?  No, the T802 does not have GMRS repeater channels preprogrammed.  

Can I use the Motorola T802 on GMRS channels without a license?  There's nothing stopping you except the enthusiasts who will make you wish you hadn't.
