Our DMR Digital Two Way Radio Booster is a plug and play range extender for DMR Digital Two Way Radios.  DMR Digital two way radio manufacturers include Motorola, Kenwood, Hytera, & RCA.  The DMR Range Booster can improve your radio coverage by up to 75% depending on where you locate the device for one channel on your portable walkie talkies.  Note, the DMR Digital Range Booster will not extend the coverage of an existing repeater.  The DMR Digital Booster requires programming to your existing radios.  Once programmed, the DMR Range Booster is plug and play and can be moved around your property to obtain the best results.

What does DMR stand for?  It stands for Digital Mobile Radio and is a protocol used by two way radio manufacturers.  There are two way radios using other protocols and those are not compatible with the DMR Digital Booster.  

How far will the Digital Range Extender increase our range?  Range always varies due to conditions where you are using radios.  You should expect your radios to transmit at least 20% further from the furthest point to the opposite furthest point of your property.  

What set up is required?  Very little.  You'll simply decide where you're going to put the device, plug it in, and put the antenna as high up as you can.  The higher the antenna, the better the range.  Note, there are two power buttons, one on the radio and one on the cabinet.  Both have to be powered on.
